Does Flat Feet make you have lower stamina?

And can it make you run slower? Also does it create problems with your knees or ankles?

What are the main disadvantages?

Does Flat Feet make you have lower stamina?
no. you have to go to a tennis shoe store (like new balance) to get some advice on shoes for flat feet. if you have the right kind of shoes for flat feet, ur running shouldnt be affected at all.

if u dont get the right shoes, u could experience problems while running. like ppl with normal feet, the right shoe, though its pricey, its worth it to protect your feet from all the shock of running.
Reply:It shouldn't affect your stamina, per se, but if it causes you pain, then you'll feel less energy. Flat feet can cause you to run slower, and it can cause problems with your knees and ankles, especially if you are a runner or are on your feet a lot. Go see a podiatrist. He or she can prescribe special exercises for you as well as fitted shoes or inserts. It can make things much better and improve your performance as a runner and prevent future problems.
Reply:Certainly not. However in certain jobs--like the olympic runner, army-- they do check the sole. IIt does not restrain u from doing anything so cheer up. the only disadvantage is the social impact.. i have a fren with flat sole. i see some **** mocking at his 'duck' foot :)

wear a special kind of shoe or sole as over long period of time u will notice that ur sole gets slightly curled.
Reply:im have very flat feet and there are no diadvatges your normal like everyone else. One advatnge is that you can swim a little better do to your feet beging flat,
