I run and run to increase my stamina, but when i play basketball, i get winded easily?

I can run for 2 miles non-stop, but after going up and down the court a few times i get very winded and dry mouth..how can i help this and what can I do?

use a inhaler and take deep breaths focus and feel relaxed.
Reply:Try to mix aerobic and anaerobic conditioning when you work out, try running a lap around your local track and biking 2 laps. Then rest for 5 - 10 minutes. And keep repeating.
Reply:try to run 3 miles next time or run 2 miles faster. best way to get in better condition is to go running or play more pick-up games.
Reply:When you run try to run at the speed that you would in a game. After a while your stamina will increase.
