I am 150 lbs, 5'6 female. I am active. I workout 6-7 days a week and lift weights. My cardio regimen follows
60 minutes of intense cardio 6 days a week, usually treadmill at 4.5-5mph
moderately healthy meals, no binging, no fried foods, low sugar
weight lifting 3x a week
I am building muscle and have very good stamina. My vo2 max is 41. Approximately how many pounds could I expect to lose on this plan in 5 weeks?

because you are lifting weights also, you're weight loss may equal your weight gain with the extra muscle you will be packing on. I had the same problem when i started my workout regime. You may lose 1-2 pounds a week maximum.
Reply:Hello! I'm not sure how many calories you can burn with the regimin you've mentioned..... but I can recommend an AWESOME site that helped me lose 20 lbs and fast. Go to www.sparkpeople.com and register for free. You will have to input your current weight, your goal weight and the program will tell you how many calories to eat daily and how many to burn in order to reach your goal by a certain time. It's a very motivating site as well. I could have never done it on my own. Hope this helps!!
