Can the outcomes and effects of long term masturbation be reversed?

I know of someone who started masturbating during adolescence, enjoyed it to much, took over his life, and continued to masturbate into young adulthood without having much experience having sex with another person. Now, he is 22 years of age and remarks he practically has no sexual stamina and a low sexual drive (libido). He also states he has this weird feeling in his groin. He can still masturbate--although he has stopped--he gets a weak erection, ejaculates small amounts of semen, and have an extremely weak orgasm. He has seen a urologist and the viagra prescribed to him does not work at all. He has not told the urologist about his past chronic masturbation behavior and believes he has sexual dysfunction due to stress. He does comment that he gets stressed easily and now that he has problems with his genitals due to his history of chronic masturbation, he is even more stressed. Also, he states that when he masturbated, he was taking a drug known as ephedrine, a stimulant.

Can the outcomes and effects of long term masturbation be reversed?
The masturbation is not the cause of these symptoms. Really compulsive masturbating like that is usually caused by a very unstable, chaotic home life. Masturbation becomes a futile way of regulating all the terrible feelings he has. Stimulants just make it 5 times worse. It would probably be in his best interest to see a psychologist, maybe one who specializes in sexual dysfunction.

Reply:Wow, this guy sounds like me. Except I never took ephedrine to help the process, and I don't have a problem today. I'm now in my late twenties. I get it up quite easily and still have a great orgasm. Heck two weekends ago my girlfriend and I had sex five times in the course of twenty-four hours.
