How do i increase or get a good stamina to be able to play for 30min non-stop. how do i also get to be agile?

i love to play football but get tired after 3mins on a pitch and that annoys me because i want to be better than that and have more stamina.

How do i increase or get a good stamina to be able to play for 30min non-stop. how do i also get to be agile?
1. You need to get REALLY fit. I would suggest circuit training twice a week, and a steadily increased jog once a week too. Boxing training is the best training you can do for stamina and fitness and I swear by it. Kickboxing is also good, however the risk of leg injury is probably too high with these two sports combined. Heard of fartlett training? It's ideal for stamina even if I've not spelled it correctly. Basically you need to train to be able to play for 60 minutes (nearly) non sto if you are going to be comfortable at 30 minutes. This will not be easy to begin, but if you want it you will get it if you put in the sustained effort over a long period of time. To build stamina you need commitment and discipline, as you have to constantly up the stakes, and unfortunately there is no short cut, until you reach your desired level expect to feel flat out after each session. Push it, and push it and push it.

On to your second question, agility is basically flexibility and that requires you to stretch before during and after exercise. Moreover, you can take up any of the various yogas, asthanga being the best in my opinion for your needs, as its a highly active yoga, alternatively and martial art which focusses on leg strength and stretching will be ideal. Thai boxing, tai kwan do, kickboxing. Just get out there and try different thingsand drink plenty of water. ta ta
Reply:you need 2 increase your staminar by training. such things as 12 minute runs could be a gd way 2 test if u are improving. for agility u could do lots of work with ladders and hurdles (you dont have to use proper ladders or hurdles your can improvise) then 2 see how well your improving use the ilinois agility run. you can look these tests up online!! it wont just happen tho it will take time and effort to improve!!
Reply:a couch of mine once said taht you dont have to be like a bullet on the field all the time but when it really comes down to performance you should proably try some polymetrics it gives explosive power as in the ability to out-sprint you opponent and witth agility my advice is play a game wiht a friend where you draw a kinda long rectangualr box and let a partner stay within the box but your aim is to get over the other side..your partner cannot come out of the box nor can you run out of the box so taht way you have to beat your opponent wiht speed and the ability to quickly change pace from one body side to the next...thsi should help in your game...wish you all the best
Reply:Gentle jog everyday, set yourself a pace, and where your going to run to and from, and time yourself.

Do that until you can do it no probs, and then try and run it and beat your time.

Over time extend the distance.

I suggest riding a bike around aswell, builds up your leg muscles and it's a cheap way of transport.

Reply:Yoga is brilliant for this. Not just for girls!! Roy Keane did this....

Makes you feel better about yourself aswell as agile.
