Can an older person join an athletics club?

I do circuit training and body pump twice a week and I run 4 miles three times a week. Would I be able to train at an athletics club for speed/stamina/performance enhancement? The problem being that I am 'older person'

Should be able to. Most athletics clubs have a 'vets' team/training session anyway.
Reply:Of course! My parents both belong to health clubs and are in better condition than I am. There may even be certain classes with people your own age to make it more fun. You go for it!
Reply:My father used to run for 1 mile a day and he said "my back and nedk pain " so i bought a MBT shoes for him and surprisingly he never feel pain again!!

I think the old people should use it. it can reduce your pain.
Reply:I'm 70 and I do it. So, how old are you?
