Also I get sore really easy. so does anyone know a good way to stretch so that doesn't happen?

Thus, you should start with slow and short distance
As time passes by you should start increasing your speed and the distance...
For example, you can run 1/2 mile in 1st week for 4mph for speed...
A week later, you can run 3/4 mile in 5mph for speed...
Just like this process, you should run depending on your ability...
If you are not used to running, start slow and short distance...
You should run/jog at least 20 minutes daily. It is better to do it at night before you go to sleep.
Remember, you dont have to sprint...
Reply:first you want to get some shoes that feel good for you try to break them in stretch for 5-10 minutes and go out for a 1/2 a mile run increase by a 1/2 mile every two days until you get to 3 miles that should build up some stamina
