I have pretty low stamina... I can only run like two blocks straight but by the time i reach the end, I'm dead out of breath... so... yeah

how can i increase my stamina?

How can I increase my stamina?
Keep excersizing and push yourself a little each day, this alone will increase your stamina and be for long you will notice that you are able to do more, longer than before.I piromise.
Reply:Run 3 miles everyday.
Reply:Workout and good diet.
Reply:More sex

Reply:Run a lot. ALways train harder then you're gonna play. Push it as hard as you can and make sure you're consistant. You can't run 5 miles one day and then not run for a month spread it out. Goos luck witht the trainng.
Reply:push yourself. you need to build up a fitness base. jump on a bike for an hour or so at a gym, it would be easier on your legs for awhile until you get fitter, and that way you increase your aerobic fitness. you can alternate between a bike and running
Reply:Start running a little bit every day. Don't start running for long periods of time but start little by little. Once you have mastered one distance incress the amount you are running. If you get too tired running then try jogging or fast walking until you can build up more stamina. Good luck.
Reply:I agree with the first lady.

Make sure that you do not have an iron deficiency or diabetes, both common reasons for low stamina.
Reply:every other day do ladders

i would also reccomend swimming and doing ladders

some days you can go up and back down

or you can just go down and back up
Reply:Oh...I thought you were talking about another kind of stamina...sorry...not interested in running...
Reply:more exercise and control your breathing.

it sounds more like you have a breathing problem and not a stamina problem

do like the armed forced does,,,, try singing a cadence to yourself while you run,, that will help you control your breathing and no be gasping for breath
Reply:Quit Smoking ASAP and increase water intake.
Reply:You can increase your stamina by watching what you eat. Foods that are too heavy can slow you down. Also check with a doctor to make sure that you don't have something else going on. If running is slowing you down, than try speed walking, start out slow for a week or so than gradually start walking briskly, once you've done this successfully than you can start a slow jog. Never do anything to quickly, it causes your heart rate to increase, and that will slow you down also. But most importantly, see a doctor, before you start any exercise that's dealing with your cardiovascular. Eating red meat can be a problem also, so if you eat red meat everyday try cutting back to maybe twice a week, incorporate more fiber into your diet, try eating foods that will clean out your digestive track, foods that cause roughage will clean out your colon, if your colon has blockage, that will also cause you to feel a lot less energetic.
