Is there such thing as these types of muscles?

I've heard of white muscles, where the muscles are strong but lack stamina. I've heard of red muscles, where muscles have stamina but lack strength. I've heard of red (type b) muscles, where its in between but have moderate stamina and strength But, are there pink muscles, where it contains stamina of red muscles and strength of white muscles combines? If so, how do you train it to become that way? Any routine (even for red [type b[ muscles)?

Is there such thing as these types of muscles?
You are referring to muscle fibers classified on their physical and metabolic properties.

There are 3 types type 1 type 2A type 2B

Type 1 are dark in color because they are rich in mitochondria and oxidative enzymes,

responsible for aerobic metabolism.Their fiber diameter is small. Meaning they are fatigue resistant but its speed of contraction is slow

Type 2A are pale in color but are rich in glycolytic enzymes associated with anaerobic metabolism. Their fiber diameter is large. Meaning they fatigue quickly but contract faster.

type 2B is the intermediate type. Its diameter, oxidative and glycolytic enzymes fall bet type 1 and type2A.

You cannot train these muscle to be converted from one type to another because these differences define their function.

For example a slow twtch muscle is the leg muscle, we dont need it to contract quickly but we need it to be fatigue resistant to enable us to stand/walk for a good duration. An example of fast twitch muscle are the muscles controlling the eye, they need to contract quickly.

However exercise may be able to improve muscle strength or endurance depending on the type of training.

Aerobic exercise will increase endurance while weight lifting may increase strength
Reply:I learned in grade schoo three types of muscles cardic ,smooth and skeletal.
