How is synthetic testosterone administered to athletes ( ie Floyd Landis) who want to increase stamina?

Testosterone can be taken orally, by injection or by use of a testosterone patch.

Cyclists don't discuss doping methods openly, but as recently as a month ago, a German doctor involved in cycling discussed the use of testerone patches for recovery: "You put a standard testosterone patch that is used for male hormone replacement therapy on your scrotum and leave it there for about six hours. The small dose is not sufficient to produce a positive urine result in the doping test, but the body actually recovers faster." --Dr. Kurt Moosburger
