I want to get bigger and get in shape for this upcoming track season. I need a workout that can help me increase stamina and any exercises that can build muscle.
Does anyone know of a workout plan that can get me in shape and build muscle?
Set a goal for yourself. Then work out a plan to accomplish your goal. You should start out not running so much, then start running more and more. Track takes less of stamina though. Cross-country is more stamina related. What you need is speed. Do same thing except start out slow and try to speed up. In this way you will be building stamina at the same time. Good luck wid ur track season.
Reply:First you gatta start by eating lot's of protein in order to gain muscles : eat chicken, meat, egg whites (some guys drink 3-5 egg whites in the morning for their weight training workout.) peanuts, peanut butter they all have protein. You can research more if you like. Dumb belts or resistance bands are really good at developing muscles with you don't have access to a gym.
