I just joined a gym and i'm 18, about 116lbs and just looking to improve my stamina and tone my midsection. what should i do as far as cardio and the machines? i'm a little lost in there

Most gyms offer a free consultation with a trainer when you join. Check with the gym's front desk staff. Otherwise any type of cardio equipment will help with endurance and sit ups and a proper diet will help with your midsection.
Reply:There are all sorts of things you can do. I personally prefer machines and free weights, but that might be different for you. I'm guessing there's someone there you could talk to about it, tell them you're new to the whole thing.
Here's a better question---why did you add that you were a girl? First of all, if you're 18, you're a woman. Second, what does that have to do with the price of oil? So am I, big deal.
