i am thinking about joining a football team but before i join i want to know how to increase my stamina because even though im fast i get tired easily please help
How do you increase your stamina?
Well, you'll need to run distance. Go ahead and run for ten minutes, see how you feel, then repeat for a few days. If you can get into the habit of running every other day, after three weeks you can increase your time running.
But you need to be careful not to overtrain since you are already training for football. Running will be a secondary conditioning sport for you, so run carefully and you should be able to gradually build up to five miles in a month. If you ran five miles three times a week, it would improve your stamina.
It would be a good idea to get some shoes just for running. If you're running on a track and keep the mileage below three, you can get away with bargain shoes, but if you're on pavement for more than three miles you'll need real running shoes to protect your heels and knees.
