Great way to loose weight, get fit and loose stamina?

I am 13years old and have been muching on chocolate quite a bit recently, im not heavily over weight but my stomach is kind of hanging over my pants just a bit,m i'm giving up choclate tl the end of april, any other freindly adivice to help me sort myself out?

There's no hidden secret or miracle cure; it's all about diet and exercising.



If you can give up a bad habit (such as eating chocolate), then definitely go for it. Try and drink a ton of water since it will keep your body running efficiently and consume some form of protein continuously throughout the day so your body never enters a "storage mode".



Exercise is also a big part of weight loss. You can start with something as simple as push-ups and sit-ups as long as you stick with them. More muscle means more calories burned on a daily basis.



Don't give up because you're not losing weight within a week. At your age, you metabolism is extremely fast, so stick with it and you'll shed some weight fast!

Reply:You're young! Join a sports club like swimming, athletics or tennis. Cut out the junk food and eat healthy home cooked food, fresh fruits and lots of water.

Doing some form of exercise at least 3 -4 days a week is enough for you. It will stimulate your mind, you'll have more energy and look and better on the inside and out.
Reply:You are 13 years old you should be out playing football, running,netball ect; it is getting much warmer out side and this is the time to go out and enjoy the spring time. Why dont you get some mates together and go for bike rides. The answer is to get out and get active. Enjoy the holidays
Reply:Congratulations on giving chocolate a slack. I am also very attracted to it; once I start I cannot stop so I stay away altogether.



If you incorporate daily exercise in your life, you could eat A LITTLE chocolate without harm.



Walking is the best exercise to loose fat. A Phd in physical education informed me of that and I was very surprised.



In addition to walking, any other activity you enjoy is good (swimming, skiing, volleyball, martial arts, dancing, etc.).



There are some excellent DVDs on the market, I like the ones from www.beachbody.com



www.fitday.com is FREE and has everything you need, including how much protein, fat and carbs you should eat, and how much calories you need to eat per day.



I have been walking 1 hour a day on my tread mill and it really works; my waist has been shrinking faster than when I used to do aerobics.



1. walk (if you have a dog you found a faithful walking buddy)

If you like dogs and do not have one, volunteer at your local SPCA to walk the shelter dogs, you will do them – and yourself a big favor at the same time.

2. drink at least 2 liters of water a day (it helps flush the fat)

3. avoid fried foods

4. fill 1/2 your plate with vegetables, 1/4 with lean meats (chicken, fish or tofu) and the remaining 1/4 with either potatoes, brown rice or whole wheat noodles.

5. stick with whole wheat bread and low fat margarine

6. stay away from sugar.

7. eat snacks (ideally: low fat yogourt or low fat cheese with a fruit) twice daily. I love the 94% fat free popcorn.



If you are a teen-ager you should not be starving yourself, you are growing up, so eat all you want but choose the right foods.

You will notice that as you eat better and exercise, you will not be craving chocolate as much.



Muscles weigh more than fat, so you might loose fat but it might not be showing on the scale. Your clothes will start to feel loose soon.



If you eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks a day, you will increase your metabolism, meaning your body will burn more fat because it will be busy processing the food.
