Nearly every fight i have i win. I hav done matial arts before and boxing atm. I hav only gone through with 3 belts in kung fu and 2 belts in kick boxin academy. I know most of the basics, so give us some street fighting tips and equipement that will make me a better fighter, including stamina, strength and speed. thanks and cheers to all that chip in.
What do i need to learn to fight even better than what i know?
to fight even better you must understand the reason to the fight the reason to why you fight.
Reply:Only more experience will truly make you a better fighter.
Reply:If you are talking about fighting in a ring I would suggest the only thing that will help is contnuing training and trying to perfect what you know. In no stretch of the imagination do you know the basics. You might know the motions but you don't know them well at all, that takes years.
If you are talking about fighting on the street I would suggest starting to put money away for legal fees, court costs, and possibly the medical bills of your opponent. Eventually you will have to face one or more of these if you keep street fighting.
Reply:There are no belts in kung fu.
I think you need to understand that fighting solves nothing and is used only as a last resort.
Reply:wrestkling will make you way better
Reply:I didn't know that kick boxing or kung fu had belts.
Because the real ones never did.
So you "nearly" won every fight. Why didn't other fights that you lost make you think that you need to learn more about fighting?
Just work out and that's it. That'll make you a better fighter if you think you know all the basic knowldge for fighting.
Reply:For one thing perseverance and the willingness to stay on one art for long enough to become an expert at that art. Someone may be a good fighter and bounce around from art to art, yet I notice the great fighters I have known have stuck through and become experts at least one art and possibly two. It is OK and even desirable to know several arts. It is more important to devote to one that will build your foundation. You may build a wall of bricks cinderblock and stones all mixed back and forth. A better wall would be made of one material at a time, organized into logical rows or patterns to build strength.
Avoid street fights they build bad habits. They demean the practitioners and can get you in jail.
