How can i get more stamina/agility?

Im a 17 year old senior and my school's soccer try outs are on NOV 12th so since i can only last like 30mins during a 90min game i was wondering how i can get more stamina and more agility??? and what are some good plyometric/'s work outs???

How can i get more stamina/agility?
Cardio for stamina and stretching for agility. Yoga's good for both.
Reply:make sure you're getting the right nutrition, like enough calories, protein, carbs all that stuff. make sure you're staying hydrated and getting enough sleep as well.

other than that you'll just have to work up to it, adding little bits at a time.
Reply:Generally, to be more agile, you need to stretch. You also need more carbohydrates in your diet and you should probably try running longer distances to increase your stamina.
Reply:Run every morning. It's the best time to run. Keep doing it everyday and then their. You got a stamina.
Reply:Diet:

Make sure to ad good carbs to your diet on a regular basis. This includes plenty of whole grain breads, pastas, and vegetables. 1 hour to 30 minutes before you go out, have a piece of fruit or high quality energy bar (depending on how many calories you can afford to eat - if you are overweight, avoid the energy bars). During the workouts, if you feel you are tiring out, put a little honey or energy gel (check with your local vitamin store) on your tongue for a quick energy boost. Also DRINK WATER ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!

Supplements:

I suffer from exercise-induced asthma and had a really hard time keeping up with cardio workouts. I started taking 6 grams of Pyruvate (check out Pyruvate 1000 at bodybuilding.com) per day. This is NOT a stimulant. It actually lowers your resting heart rate and has been shown to increase cardiovascular health. Anyhow, when I take it for long enough (a couple weeks because it has a build-up effect) I can work out harder, longer, and with NO chest pain from my asthma.

Exercise:

Run. The more I run, the more I feel like I can keep up with other cardio activities (like soccer).
Reply:long distance running and plents of carbohydrates ( pasta , bread , potatoes etc.)
Reply:run a lot
Reply:jog in the morning
Reply:Both stamina and agility require fervent stretching. If you want to get real serious, I'd suggest taking up yoga. If not, then common stretches will work fine.

Never stretch a cold muscle. Begin all workouts with an easy, casual warm-up, such as jogging for a quarter-mile, then stretch until tears well up in your eyes.

Stamina is gained by long-distance running. If you want to get serious, maybe running 1 mile every week-day would work. If not, then do it 3 times a week. Any type of exertion becomes easier just by running for long distances, and you can do it longer.

Agility is strictly stretching. After the warm up, stretch for 15 minutes, then do it again after the mile run. Be sure to time yourself every day to make sure you're getting faster.

Cheers,
