Whats a easy way to build up stamina?
You can do it, don't give up!! I used to smoke *at least * a pack a day, and often more. Get rid of the cigarettes, get rid of the ashtrays (don't just put them away, throw them out!!) vacuum and dust every surface in your house, open the windows, and wash everything that isn't nailed down. Buy a ton of scented candles and burn them when you are home.
Adding a cardio regimen will dramatically increase your chances of successfully quitting smoking. You can do light to moderate cardio everyday. Aim for 30 minutes a day to start. It will be challenging at first, but your stamina *will increase* over a week or two. Gradually build up to an hour a day over about 4-6 weeks. Add 5 minutes a week.
You can do it!! If you experience a set back, don't give up! Just throw the smokes away again, and keep trying!! It will take time and determination, but the rest of your life will be better if you are willing to pay the price now! And remember, the urge to smoke will pass whether you smoke or not!!
Reply:okay. 1st- stop smoking!!! 2nd- Run every day. Start with a half mile for a week. Then go to a mile the next week for two weeks. Then go to a mile and a half for three weeks, and repeat the pattern. You'll gain stamina if you stay off the cig! And the amazing thing is that if you are running, your cravings for cigs will be reduced.
Reply:proceed a healthy lifestyle
Reply:One step at a time, start with stopping to smoke, go for long walks, them move up to harder challenges like slow joggs mixed with long walks, get a few friends to join you that will help you push on and you won't even notice how far or how long.
