Can anyone give me some endurance training tips for basketball that would be somewhat effective in a week?

Hi, I am in fairly good condition right now, but basketball season starts in one week. Can anyone suggest anything that would have a fairly large impact at the end of the week that would help with my endurance or stamina for basketball?

what i should have done ever since high school was join cross country, if you are still in high school join cross country, and iof your older than that, try to find some leagues or groups who run, like a running class, my school has jogging classes to help people run and gain endurance that is very helpful

Reply:Join ur track or cross country or running club/team. Eat healthy for a good week and run about 2 K a day non stop. if that is too much for you then you should try and practic eso you can increase that by runnig 1K your first day 1.5 the next then 2 and then so on 2.5 should be most because you cant relly increase by tht much if ur lower ut 2-2.5 is perfect. Run this much everyday and eat healthy ull lose a pound or 2 in one week by doing this and watch wut u ewat and stretch ebfore u run...practice ur jump shooting and in game situations and run for rebounds and layups as if u were in a game so you will get a good work out. You can also run up and down stairs or do calf raises to increase ur leg muscle. Run suicides or anything leg or running based for stamina u shud be in shape :)
