I train karate, and am in a very good shape and am ok in strength and stamina. As this is summer time, beside 4 trainings of 1 and 1/2 hour a week I've decided to do this extra things, and am already doing them - 1000 push ups a day, 500 fist push ups a day, 500 crunches a day, and running 10 kilometers ( 6,5 miles ) a day. It is hard, but I think it will be worth it.
What do you think ?

great idea. you will reap the benefits.
in discipline and in your body and mind
and heart and soul. make the process meditative, not just "doing" for the sake of doing and thinking about other things.
keep your mind totally on each sit-up.
