I am a 28 year old man. I have been working out with weights for over a month now and have become comparitively big on my shoulders, chest and arms. Now i want to get rid of my slightly bulging belly and also want to increase my stamina. My question is, will running on the treadmill make my shoulders, arms and specially chest small ? WIll running on the treadmill tone down these parts which I have worked so hard on making big ?
Will running on a tread mill tone down my body parts that I dont want toned down ?
as long as you eat right no
Reply:Not as long as you keep working out. Running is cardio %26amp; burns fat overall. So if anything your muscles will be leaner.
Reply:not if you keep lifting heavy and try to keep weight loss at %26lt; 2lb/wk your arms will get smaller but it will be mostly the flab layer covering them. who wants fat arms anyways? you can keep the muscle and loose the fat, but the fat isnt jst going to come off your belly, you will loose it everywhere including your arms and chest. the big fat man lifter is pretty much looked down on by most ppl. anybody can be fat and be big. i highly doubt you put on a very noticable amount of pure muscle anyways. when you put on fat too it gives the illusion that your arms are "getting huge" but i mean realistically you can only add like 5lb of muscle in a month max in my opinion naturally
