What are the BEST ways to CONDTION in MMA that will increse my STAMINA, and DURABILITY in a fight?
To be honest the best conditioning is done over time..however a few must are skipping rope, wind sprints, change your speeds, run as hard as you can for 10 yrs, then ease up to 50%, then back to 100% due this for 100 yards..5 times each day this will help. You should try and get to skipping rope for a 5 min round, take a 1 min break and go for 5 more minutes, repeat. The last thing is to spar/roll with an opponont, got for 7-10 rounds...5 min rounds, this will ensure that you can do a 3 or 5 minute fight...

Reply:Get a weight vest!!!!!!!!! spar with it, do frog jumps, hold a horse stance for 30 min with it...i got a 40 pound one...it works wonders for my grappling and my overall lower-body speed and strength...but dont over do it and get back problems like me. Also do the pyramid system with practicing punches and kickS do 10 punches, then 9 ,then 8...ect...(REVERSE)then do 1 punch ...then do 2...all the way to 10...in conjuction with light weights on your wrists.
you can do the same with kicks......this will help drastically!!!!! trust me
Reply:Ask your MMA coach. If you dont have one, go to an MMA gym, and ask the same question. You should be asking people that do this for a living, not all the couch potatos. :)
Reply:To add to what Mick said: Get multiple training partners to roll and spar with for 5 minutes each. If you're sparring with a fresh man for 5 minutes, 5 times, you can be better prepared for a long distance fight.
