I am 6'1 and 154 lbs i am very fast and i have good stamina.I want to go pro!would a private school help and wat do i need to do?
What position should i play in football?
Talk to the coaches. They can give you better advice than anyone here who has never seen you play. The can also tell you what positions are needed for the team. Also you would be showing them that you value their advice which they like and shows them you are interested in the team.
Good luck.
Reply:Football factories like LSU Miami (Fla) etc will be the best place to go if you want to get noticed, the trick is making it onto the talented roster. With your size I would say receiver if you can catch and put on a few pounds or corner if you can't.
Reply:Corner
Reply:stay away from private schools, they seem like they are the answer to getting recruited, but they are full of rich snobs that tend to be the kind of kids that think they are all that. unless your public schools football team sucks real bad sick with the public school
find out 6'1' 154 receiver/DB
concentrate on WR find out whos your QB and play catch every day, run your routs and get a chemistry going with your QB. Db will come to you, all DB is, is getting inside the head of QB's and receivers.
Reply:halfback or wide reciever of cornerback
Reply:Work on getting a diploma 1st, after that you may want to try %26amp; get a degree in something(if football doesn't work out, you need something to fall back on). I think going to a private school MIGHT help, but I would think too much about that. You could do just as well @ a regular high school. As far as what position you should play, given your height %26amp; weight I'd think WR would be a good fit.
Reply:Wide receiver and corner are your best bets being that skinny. if you can bulk up to 180 of lean muscle than you could try for RB but your would still be better off on the outside edges.
Reply:You should be a safety cause of your height and speed you you will be making alot of interception and your stamina you need if you intercept it you can bring it to the end zone and touchdown you wont get tired on your way.
Reply:I suggest a wide receiver because you have to be very fast in order to do that, and from what your saying that seems like a strong possibility for you.
I go to a private school, which is also a prepatory school, but since it is a well known school the students have a really good chance of being recognized, but it really depends on the private school your talking about.....
Continue practing and ask your coach about setting up an interview of a coach in a higher range of success to see if you can make it.
I hope this helps a bit even if i am a girl take what i say into consideration!!!!

Reply:Wide Receiver or quarterback at that size.
Reply:At that weight you are pretty limited. Corner or WR would be about your only bet. And those positions depend on what you run the 40 yard dash in. Also, be prepared to take some massive hits. At that thin build a safety is going to be gunning for you.
Reply:i wanted to go pro to, and i did. just follow my ten step program, here's the link

Reply:Wide Reciever( If you are good at catching )
If you are REALLY fast then maybe runningback or halfback.
